We are proud to introduce P.A.C.E. (Prompting AI Competence in Education), an innovative Erasmus+ funded European project dedicated to preparing students for the age of Artificial Intelligence. As AI tools such as ChatGPT become increasingly integrated into education and the workplace, P.A.C.E. aims to equip higher education students with one of the most essential new skills of the digital era: Prompt Engineering.
Bringing together leading institutions from France, Greece, Italy, Spain, and Cyprus, the project seeks to bridge the gap between traditional academic curricula and the practical AI competencies demanded by today’s economy. Through an engaging learning platform, students will develop their AI literacy through hands-on exercises, personalised progress tracking, and research-driven learning pathways.
P.A.C.E. also places strong emphasis on the ethical and responsible use of AI. Participants will explore key issues such as bias, misinformation, and the broader societal impact of emerging technologies, while collaborating with educators, industry experts, and fellow students across Europe.
Together, we are shaping a future where students do not simply use AI tools — they master them intelligently, critically, and responsibly.
