Prompting AI Competence in Education<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

P.A.C.E. \u2013 Prompting AI Competence in Education is a European project funded under the Erasmus+ Programme, Key Action 2 (KA220-HED, Ref: 2025-1-FR01-KA220-HED-000357523)<\/strong> \u2013 Cooperation Partnerships in Higher Education. The project focuses on strengthening digital skills and Artificial Intelligence literacy among university students across Europe. As Artificial Intelligence tools such as large language models are rapidly transforming education, work, and everyday life, it is becoming increasingly important for students to understand not only how to use these technologies but also how to interact with them effectively and responsibly. One of the most important emerging skills in this context is prompt engineering, the ability to design clear and effective instructions that guide AI systems to produce accurate and meaningful outputs.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Despite the growing relevance of these technologies, AI literacy and prompt engineering are still largely absent from most higher education curricula. The P.A.C.E. project aims to address this gap by developing innovative learning resources and methodologies that help students build practical competencies in interacting with AI systems. To achieve this goal, the project will design and implement a gamified digital learning platform where students can learn and practice prompt engineering through interactive exercises, real-world scenarios, and collaborative learning activities. By combining digital education with game-based learning techniques, the platform aims to make AI education more engaging, accessible, and effective for students from different academic backgrounds.<\/p>\n<\/div>

The P.A.C.E. project is implemented through a multinational European consortium, bringing together partner institutions from France, Greece, Italy, Spain, and Cyprus. This international collaboration allows the project to combine expertise from different academic and technological fields, including artificial intelligence, digital education, and educational innovation. By working across multiple countries, the consortium ensures that the developed learning tools and methodologies address the needs of diverse higher education environments and can be adopted by universities throughout Europe.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
